When elevators have problems, most people experience panic and confusion. For the handicapped, children, and elderly people, the effects are especially pronounced. To help with this, Yungtay designed the intelligent long distance control system. In Yungtay’s 24-hour control center, all building elevators are monitored for functionality and needed assistance. If a problem occurs, automatic message transmission occurs, and passengers can directly communicate with the control center, giving passengers peace of mind as they wait for assistance.

Control System
Different than other control systems, this system sends individualized messages based on the type of emergency and its importance. Irregular function data, operational condition data, and safety condition data are transmitted in detail, giving the control operator the chance to immediately grasp the nature of the problem and discover its source.
Automatic Error
Message
Transmission
When elevator sensors notice irregular conditions, an error report is sent to the Yungtay control center through the phone lines, which directs service personnel in correcting the problem. Many times service personnel have fixed a problem before customers have even discovered the elevator is running abnormally.

Prevention
If by chance a passenger is trapped within an elevator cage, the elevator will automatically play a pacifying message informing passengers help has been dispatched to assist them. Also, passengers will be reminded not to try to force exit from the elevator, which could result in accidents. Thus dangerous accidents are avoided.
Direct Communication
Means Greater Peace
of Mind
Passengers trapped inside the elevator cage can directly speak with the control center through the speakerphone, giving passengers an extra measure of comfort as they await assistance. Knowing that the elevator speakerphone connects to the outside, even if building security is not on duty, gives elevator passengers an extra measure of comfort while riding.
