Shanghai Yungtay bases its development strategy on its profound understanding of the global elevator industry to continuously raise the level of its products and advance with the time and other major international elevator manufacturers. “Always for the better and in pace with the world” has been Taiwan Yungtay’s research and development concept ever since the establishment of its research and development center.
We devoted a great amount of human resource as well as financial resource to the establishment of the elevator tower and elevator laboratory. We required our products to meet all related regulations and standards in their designing stage.

In terms of motor control, Shanghai Yungtay’s research
and development team have already mastered control
techniques that are only available in a few major
international elevator makers, including frequency ratio
at constant voltage, permeance vector control,
and 0-speed sensing vector control, etc.
In addition, the smoothness of operation and torque
stability at lowrotation speeds(<1 Hz) achieved by
Yungtay is alsoon the same level as that achieved by
major internationalelevator makers. |

Shanghai Yungtay takes user-orientation as the highest
principle in product design. Yungtay has even made the
display systems of its elevators supportive of multiple
languages to provide both convenience and a sense of
intimacy for users all over the world.
Besides, in order to enable users to check the

Yungtay has
developed the real-time CRT display
device to inform
users of the elevator’s operation

Because there is no test towers or laboratories for
electric
elevator motors in Mainland China, tests for
elevator
certificates such as EMC, EMI and GB have to
be
conducted in other countries or Taiwan. This naturally
causes inconvenience and rise of cost.
However, elevators are not allowed to be sold in the
domestic market of China without those certificates.
Shanghai Yungtay is deeply aware that its development
will be greatly hindered if such tests and experiments
are
not available in Mainland China. This is why
Shanghai Yungtay devoted huge amounts of human
resources and
financial resources to the establishment
of the elevator tower and elevator experiment laboratory.
The purpose is
to ensure that Yungtay products can
meet all related
standards even in their designing stage.
This is also one
of Yungtay’s research and

Adoption of electronic technologies has become the
trend
of modern equipment’s development.
The industrial control
network communication
technology is used to support
high-speed data
transmission between facilities.
It is especially
designed for communication between the
automatic
control system and its peripheral equipment.
Therefore different communication networks are
adopted
for different regions.
In order that its elevators can be sold all over the
world,
Shanghai Yungtay has organized research
and
development projects for various communication
networks
to make them available to all customers.
The domestic
elevator industry has not been able
to provide such
network functions and therefore its
development in
overseas markets is restricted.
Furthermore, the remote
monitoring, control and
diagnosis technology is also
under research and
development in Shanghai Yungtay. |

equipped for digitized elevators, which has affected
